Violinist Leonid Sushansky, Artistic Director of the National Chamber Ensemble, joins Maestro Villani and the MSO for Felix Mendelssohn’s expressive “Violin Concerto in E minor.” At 15, Sushansky debuted with the New York Philharmonic at the invitation of conductor Zubin Mehta. MSO concludes the concert with Respighi’s gorgeous and picturesque tone poem, “Pines of Rome.”
