JANUARY 2021

Kim B Miller is an award-winning poet. She is the Poet Laureate for Prince William County, VA.  Kim is the First African American Poet Laureate for PWC. Her poetry is her heart expressed in words: opinionated, thought provoking and real.

Kim performed at The National Black Theater, The Atlas Performing Arts Center, The Black Box Theatre and many other venues.

Her poems have been published in an international magazine and book. Kim’s poems have also been published nationally in a newspaper, books, websites,
an interfaith anthology and several magazines.

Fear is one of the poems that can found in her new book called: My Poetry Is The Beauty you Overlook.

The highly anticipated Off the Wall competition returns for its 17th year! Each year the area high school students are invited to share their talent by participating in a high school art exhibit and competition sponsored by Lockheed Martin. The competition encourages student expression and creativity in a professional setting. The exhibit includes student work in the following categories: Visual Art, Poetry, and our STEAM influenced category, Art & Technology (3D prints & digital designs). Each category is adjudicated by a professional in the field.
