Who We Are

The Castaways Repertory Theatre is a non-profit organization affiliated with the NVTA, WATCH, and the Prince William County Park Authority/Prince William County Arts Council. The Castaways Repertory Theater group was formed in October 1981 by nine Prince William County residents as a traveling company performing plays for churches, schools, clubs, and civic organizations. To broaden its audience, the Castaways began producing shows open to the general public and established a full theatrical season of three annual productions. We continue to give award-winning performances, now including summer and youth cast productions.

What We Do

We perform three feature plays during the fall, winter, spring season, a summer Youth Theatre, and send annual entries to the Northern Virginia Theatre Alliance One-Act Play Festival. Our main stage location is the Dr. A.J. Ferlazzo Building, 15941 Donald Curtis Drive, Woodbridge, Virginia 22191.

We perform on request for various groups in the community

Benefits & Community Outreach
We actively seek out opportunities to return to the community what they have gained from it. We organize and perform fund-raisers for local charities, sponsor and assist senior citizen acting groups, and perform senior readings over the holidays. We partner with local area high schools to provide mentoring and experience to the theatre students.

We provide technical assistance and equipment to other groups and programs seeking to produce performances as well as provide training to our members. We actively seek and consider original works for our feature and one-act productions.

Who We Serve

We provide quality live theatrical performances to the members and visitors of our community while involving those same community members in the theatrical arts through education, participation, and enlightenment.
