The Center for the Arts of Greater Manassas and Prince William County’s vision is “a community enriched through creative arts”. Our mission is to enrich the creative community by:

What We Do
Arts classes for youth:
pre-school through high school, visual and performance based. Examples: Classes in drawing, painting, cartooning, pottery, creative writing, theatre combat, acting, puppetry
Arts and Ballroom classes for adults:
examples: ballroom dancing, watercolor, creative writing, calligraphy, jewelry making, photography, figure drawing, bookmaking, and oil painting
Summer Theatre Camps:
twenty two sessions offered in Manassas, Woodbridge and Gainesville
Summer Art Camps:
10 offered at our main facility, the Candy Factory
SummerSounds Concerts:
free to the public, held at the Harris Pavilion in Old Town Manassas
Art Exhibits:
professionally curated exhibits featuring the work of local, regional and international artists
Pied Piper Theatre:
an immersion theatre arts experience for young people, integrating all aspects of theatre production. Examples of past productions: Charlotte’s Web; Mulan Jr.; The Sound of Music
Rooftop Productions:
Center for the Arts Community Theatre Company performing at least two productions annually
Past Time Prime Time Players – Acting for Seniors:
Theatre workshops for senior citizens incorporating theatre games and technical exercises in a storytelling framework
“Arts on the Go”:
Four modules, each of which is a self-contained interactive exhibit, enabling us to take the art room directly into Prince William County, Manassas & Manassas Park elementary schools. Each module supports teacher activities reflecting Standards of Learning objectives in art and science

The Center for the Arts serves the general population of Prince William County, the Cities of Manassas & Manassas Park and the surrounding region.
