Kelly is a free-lance artist, art instructor, and philanthropist. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Fine Art from Radford University and owns Minor Miracles, a working art studio located in Prince William County. She creates commissioned artwork, provides art lessons and hosts art camps for local youth. Some of her volunteer positions include president for Victory Elementary School-Parent Teacher Organization (VES-PTO), Gainesville Middle School’s representative to the Superintendent’s Advisory Council on Instruction (SACI), and membership chairperson and art show co-chairperson for Brentsville District High School-Parent Teacher Academic Council (BDHS-PTAC). In 2017 she founded the first ever adjudicated art show for BDHS and The Nokesville School (TNS) students through the BDHS-PTAC. 2018 marked the second annual art show. BDHS halls are also home to a “Tiger Pride” mascot mural Kelly painted and donated. Kelly enjoys art in its many forms and is committed to fostering the arts.
